EDUCATIONAL FOCUS:
The Jug Bay and Patuxent River ecosystem will be our focus. You will take part in the protection of our Bay by learning about the plants, animals, and why they are endangered. You will be held personally responsible for passing on what you have learned to others so that your part in the web of life will lead to preservation!
ADVENTURE FOCUS:
We will focus on basic kayaking skills and safety. You will practice form and technique on dry land before making a splash. You will learn how to manuever your kayak in flat water with minimal rapids. Beginner as well as advanced kayakers will build and improve their skills!
SPIRITUAL FOCUS:
We will focus on Christ as our "Living Water, " that our soul needs nourishment too! We will also discover the various symbolic uses of water throughout the Old and New Testaments!
